Contronics is an engineering company whose proprietary technology provides a solution to preserve the freshness of fruits and vegetables and reduce food waste. <\/p>\n<p>Contronics, based in Sint-Oedenrode (the Netherlands), offers supermarkets and other players in the food sector a solution to combat food waste through the use of ultrasonic humidifiers (&#8220;Dry Misting&#8221;). Dry Misting has proven to be an effective solution to preserve fruits and vegetables, hydrate them, promote their freshness and thus significantly reduce waste. Contronics operates with its Dry Misting technology in 30 countries and has the ambition to strengthen its international presence in the coming years.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.contronics.nl\/\"><strong>About Contronics<\/strong><\/a><br \/>Founded in 1981, Contronics has focused on the development, manufacture, installation and maintenance of ultrasonic humidifiers at primarily retailers in the fresh food segment since 2000. Since then, they have emerged as a market leader in atomization systems and have received several awards for their technology. Contronics is a company which is emphatically focused on innovation, carried out by its own R&amp;D department. Through its specialist knowledge, international presence and many years of experience, Contronics has a great advantage in responding to the current problem of food waste and freshness perception among consumers.   <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.victusparticipations.com\/\"><strong>About Victus Participations<\/strong> <\/a><br \/>Victus is an independent private equity firm focused exclusively on the Food &amp; Agri sector in the Benelux. When it was founded in 2017, both Dutch and Belgian investors joined, with the majority of the investors themselves having experience in the Food &amp; Agri sector. Victus distinguishes itself from other<br \/>private equity firms through its sector-specific network and the knowledge it makes available to entrepreneurs. Contronics is the eighth participation of Victus Participations I, a EUR 90 million fund.   <\/p>\n<p>FBM acted as advisor to the majority shareholder and coordinated the transaction process.
