Nomination Notice: Retrospective 2025

FBM Corporate Finance again nominated as Acquisition Firm of the Year

FBM Corporate Finance has been nominated for the third time in a row as the Takeover Firm of the Year (medium category) by Brookz. A recognition of which we are proud, and which is in line with our commitment to quality, knowledge, network and proven performance within the M&A domain.

Growth of the team

In 2025 we were pleased to welcome two new colleagues: Daan Teunissen joined us as Business Analyst and Boudewijn van der Hart as Junior Consultant. With this strengthening, we are further expanding our capacity and investing in the future-proofing of our services.

Results and dealmaking

The past year was intense and diverse. We supervised 16 sales transactions and 8 purchase transactions, prepared approximately 75 business valuations and realized several complex refinancings. Our transactions took place in a variety of industries, including:

This breadth highlights our experience, sector-independent approach and ability to create value across markets.

Market Developments

Although the economic climate created uncertainty and processes were therefore challenging at times – with interim fluctuations and additional negotiation complexity – we see that these dynamics are increasingly becoming part of the new reality within M&A. Despite this, we end the year with a well-filled order book and a strong outlook for the year ahead.
