With over ten years of M&A experience, Michel guides (inter)national purchase and sale transactions from fast-growing start-ups to established companies. Michel combines a pragmatic deal-driven approach with keen financial acumen, enabling him to translate complex processes into creative and well thought-out deal structures.

Prior to his current role at FBM, he was Head of Finance at a fast-growing Wealthtech startup. In this role, he played a central role in the buy-and-build strategy where assets under management grew from approximately €60 million to over €1.6 billion.

His career began at KPMG in the accounting practice, where he earned his RA degree. Shortly thereafter, he made the move within KPMG to Transaction Services.

Michel received his Masters in Accounting & Control from VU University Amsterdam, where he also subsequently completed his Post-Master Accountancy.
